What we don't collect

GetMacros.net has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no server-side database. If you email us, your email provider delivers your message and address to our published contact mailbox.

What's stored in your browser

The current site stores your theme and motion preferences and saved restaurant meals in your browser. These settings use localStorage on your device; clearing site data removes them. Calculator arithmetic runs in the page without submitting your entries to a GetMacros calculation server.

Shared meal-finder links

Meal-finder choices can appear in the page URL so you can revisit or share the same filters. Anyone receiving that link can see those choices. URLs may also appear in browser history and hosting logs when requested. Do not put sensitive personal information in a shared link.

Hosting and basic logs

Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site. Hosting and network services may process technical details such as IP addresses, browser information and requested URLs for security and operation. These logs are separate from calculator arithmetic, which runs in your browser.

Traffic measurement

Cloudflare adds a web analytics script to the live site. It measures page visits and performance. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its handling of visitor data.

Advertising

GetMacros has applied to Google AdSense. Publisher ownership verification remains on the site, but advertising scripts are currently paused. No Google ad requests are made by the site code. Before enabling ads, we will configure the required consent controls, verify their behavior and update this notice.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
