Chipotle Balanced Meals and Macros

Chipotle’s build format makes trade-offs visible. “Healthiest” depends on energy needs, allergies, sodium context and what else you eat—not the shortest order.

Diet-pattern builds

  • Vegetarian: beans, rice, fajita vegetables, salsas, lettuce and optional cheese or guacamole.
  • Vegan: sofritas or beans with rice, vegetables, salsa, lettuce and guacamole; verify ingredients and cross-contact.
  • Gluten-aware: a bowl or salad avoids the flour tortilla, but shared service means this is not an allergen guarantee.
  • Higher protein: start with chicken or another protein plus beans. Double protein is useful only when the extra amount fits your meal.
  • Lower sodium: sodium can remain substantial; fewer salsas, cheese and salty add-ons may help, but use the live calculator.

Customization changes the result

Guacamole adds useful unsaturated fat and energy. Cheese and sour cream add protein and saturated fat. Tortillas, rice and chips add carbohydrate and energy. None is universally wrong; choose based on the job of the meal.
